Take a step back in time and stay in this wonderfully restored 1878 stone home.  Marvel at the two stone lions in the front along with the bubbling fountain.  You will be able to relax on the shaded patio, sit on either of the double front porches, or perhaps  just sit in the secluded hot tub in the back yard.

 
 


Enter the Pink Rosebud and immediately feel you've taken a step back in time. 

The front parlor is just right for reading, playing a game, or putting together a puzzle, or relaxing among the many period antiques.  For those early morning risers, enjoy coffee or tea served from the marble top dresser upstairs.
The double dining room is set for your delicious breakfast featuring fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit compote, fresh home made sticky cinnamon buns and varied main dishes.  Before turning in for the night, sample a seasonal dessert that is prepared daily especially for you.
This comfortable living area features  a stone-carved lady in a fabulous stone fireplace. As the owners also deal in used and out-of-print books, there are always many books and magazines to browse through in the great overstuffed chairs and sofa.

Plattsburg, Missouri is located just 45 minutes north from downtown Kansas City or 20 minutes south of St. Joseph in Northwest Missouri.  Plattsburg, Missouri is a beautiful country town and is the county seat of Clinton County.  Stroll down Main Street and visit Plattsburg's many quaint antique stores as well as other specialty shops.  Visit the local museum, play golf at the Plattsburg Country Club, have a match of tennis at the municipal courts or just walk among the beautifully restored homes.  Smithville Lake's Nature Preserve is only three miles away - walk the peaceful trails or fish from the banks.
